Our school chess club meets twice a week (usually Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes) in Mr Lowe's room. It is open to all students who are interested in learning to play and those students who want to play competitively.
We participate in the North-West Region NSW Junior Chess League which plays at the regional tournaments between schools over a few days. In the past we have sent teams to represent our school at the state level of competition. It is currently free to join our school chess club. It's a place to learn how to play strategy games and is a fun way to socialise with other chess players.
