Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

I am delighted to welcome you to the official website of Coonabarabran Public School. Our school is a vibrant and inclusive community where every student is encouraged to achieve their full potential in a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.

At Coonabarabran Public School, we pride ourselves on fostering a culture of respect, curiosity, and resilience. We are deeply committed to supporting all students, including those with additional needs. To ensure every child receives the assistance they require, we have a School Learning Support Officer (SLSO) in almost every classroom, providing targeted support and encouragement. Additionally, our dedicated Learning and Support Team works collaboratively with teachers, families, and students to tailor individual support plans that promote success and wellbeing.

We are also proud to have two Aboriginal Education Officers who play a vital role in supporting our Aboriginal students. They help our students to embody and respect their culture and maintain strong connections to country, enriching our whole school community through cultural awareness and inclusion.

Our dedicated staff work closely with families and the wider community to provide quality educational experiences that inspire a lifelong love of learning. We offer a broad curriculum that nurtures academic, social, emotional, and creative growth, preparing our students to be confident, responsible, and engaged citizens.

Whether you are a current family, prospective parent, or community member, we hope this website offers you valuable insight into our school’s values, programs, and events. We look forward to partnering with you to support the growth and success of every child at Coonabarabran Public School.

Thank you for visiting our site, and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or would like to learn more about our school.
